A fragrant botanical spirit from Copenhagen-based Empirical Spirits, Symphony 6 is made with a combination of aromatic but underutilised leaves – Mandarin orange leaf, lemon leaf, coffee leaves and blackcurrant buds – as well as vetiver roots and ambrette seeds. The result is reminiscent of a garden in bloom on warm summer evenings, fragrant notes of blackcurrant buds burst forward, with lively, refreshing citrus close behind. Green and fruity fig leaves build, then yield to the leathery muskiness of coffee leaves, rich ambrette seeds and vetiver roots that linger in the finish.
